<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which reduces a load for processing relative to detection of an updated portion of an image. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is provided with a frame buffer 142 which stores image information of a screen to be displayed on a terminal device, a table storage unit 141a which stores a conversion table for converting a virtual address to a physical address, an address calculating unit 133 which calculates a virtual address of a page for each pixel of a rectangular region of a prescribed size that is included in a screen, an acquiring unit 141b which acquires a physical address in correspondence with the virtual address of each pixel of the image information for which writing is requested, in accordance with a conversion table, a writing unit 141d which writes the image information for which writing is requested in the acquired physical address, a detecting unit 153 which detects an updated portion of the image information, the content of which does not match before and after the writing, in units of pages, and a compressing unit 154 which compresses the image information of the updated portion that is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
