PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive eccentric oscillation type gear device capable of easily transmitting rotation from any one of a pair of end plate parts constituting a support body to crankshafts, and an eccentric oscillation type gear device with a motor. SOLUTION: The eccentric oscillation type gear device is provided with an internal gear; an external gear having first and second through holes in the axial direction and engaged with the internal gear; the plurality of crankshafts having transmission gears and eccentric parts engaged with the first through hole of the external gear to allow eccentric motion of the external gear; and the support body which has the pair of end plate parts juxtaposed in the axial direction and a column part connecting the end plate parts and loosely fitted to the second through hole of the external gear and rotatably supports the crankshafts. The internal gear and the support body are relatively rotated. The eccentric oscillation type gear device is further provided with a single cylindrical gear rotatably supported by the support body and engaged with the transmission gears of the respective crankshafts; and an input shaft which has an intermediate gear located in the central part and engaged with the cylindrical gear, has rotation input parts located in both side parts of the intermediate gear and is rotatably supported by the support body.
