PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookmark generation apparatus capable of simply executing bookmark registration of a reference document associated with an operation item name (classification). SOLUTION: When a classification information recording notification is received, a reference document display time recording table is referred to and a set of reference documents accessed in a period before a prescribed period from present time is acquired (step S40). Then, a reference document/classification corresponding table is referred to and a classification name of reference document = d is acquired (step S43). Then, a classification setting time recording table is referred to and classification information is acquired (step S44). Then, whether the classification name (wr) acquired in the step S43 coincides with a classification name (w) included in the classification information acquired by referring to the classification setting time recording table or not is judged (step S45). When no coincidence of the classification name (w) is judged, a selection picture for urging selection whether the reference document (d) is the classification name wr or w is displayed (step S46).
