PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to quickly and surely erect a laid sidewall nearly vertically in a foldable container. SOLUTION: In the foldable container, a hook 9 to prevent a perpendicular sidewall from being raised is formed at an engagement projection 7 provided projectingly on a side end face 5b composing a cutout recess 5 of a female hinge member H1 arranged on a bottom part 1 and also a hook 8 to prevent a horizontal sidewall from being raised is formed on the inner face of an inside perpendicular part 4b locating at the side of the side end face 5a opposing to the side end face 5b, and a block to prevent a horizontal side wall 11 from being raised is formed at the lower end of one side face 10a of a supporting block 10 composing a male hinge member H2 arranged on a side wall 2 and a block 12 to prevent the perpendicular sidewall from being raised is formed at the lower end of the other side face 10b. When the fallen sidewall is raised in the vertical direction, an engagement block does not come in contact with the bank part of the bottom part and does not run on the bank part and then the fallen sidewall can be raised nearly vertically quickly and certainly.
