PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably operate a wiper while reducing cost required for a device constitution and a space required for installation of the device. SOLUTION: The wiper device 1 is provided with a wiper switch 11 for outputting an action selection signal by existence of action of a rear wiper 31 and selection of action interval; an automatic stop switch 33 for outputting a wiper action signal by detecting the action state of the rear wiper 31; a control circuit 12 provided with an output circuit 22 for outputting a wiper drive signal for driving the rear wiper 31 based on the action selection signal and the wiper action signal and an input circuit 24 for inputting the wiper action signal; and a wiper motor 32 for driving the rear wiper 31 according to the wiper drive signal. The wiper motor 32 and the control circuit 12 are connected by a single signal line 1c. The control circuit 12 performs inputting of the wiper action signal at the input circuit 24 after a predetermined time is passed from stopping of the output of the wiper drive signal from the output circuit 22.
