<p>The display (1) has a magnification lens (8) provided for projecting a virtual image on a projection surface e.g. windscreen (4), of a vehicle. A camera (9) detects a line of sight of a driver (5) of the vehicle and observes the driver through the lens. A memory (14) stores a basic line of sight of the driver for determining a position of the virtual image projection during initialization of the display. A control unit (10) estimates information about dangerous objects in front of the vehicle, and a lighting unit is provided for lighting the driver for observation through the camera.</p>
