An apparatus for darkening defective pixels is provided to darken the defective pixels efficiently by converting a continuous wave into pulse waves through an acoustic-optic modulator. An apparatus for darkening defective pixels comprises the followings: a continuous wave oscillation laser for oscillating a continuous wave; and AOMs(Acousto-Optic Modulators)(280a, 280b) for generating square waves in the continuous wave and converting it into pulse waves. The AOMs include function generators(190a, 190b) and the continuous wave oscillation laser includes a plurality of laser oscillators(210a, 210b). |
