A steam generator is provided to remove sludge without disassemble the steam generator and easily eliminate sludge without discharging water stored in an evaporation vessel. A steam generator includes an evaporation vessel(10) having a steam outlet(11) formed at the top thereof, an opening/closing member for opening/closing the lower part of the evaporation vessel, a connecting hose(40) connected to the bottom of the evaporation vessel, a vacuum pump(50) attached to the connecting hose to make sludge accumulate on the bottom of the evaporation vessel flow into the connecting hose, and a sludge receiving container(60) for receiving the sludge. |
