A gas valve of a gas stove is provided to release the child lock and operate the magnet unit at the same time as pressing the valve shaft. A gas valve of a gas stove comprises a valve housing, a valve shaft(20) which is installed in the valve housing to be elastically pressed and released, a push rod(30) connected to the valve shaft, a unit operation member which is rotated by the push rod to push the magnet unit, and a sealing plate which covers and supports the unit operation member. When the valve shaft is pressed, child lock is released and the push rod and the unit operation member are operated successively. Thus, a magnet unit pipe(13) is opened and closed.
