METHOD FOR RE-ATTEMPTING A RANDOM ACCESS EFFECTIVELY

A method for reattempting random access between terminal and network is provided to reattempt random access before collision resolution timer is expired by reattempting uplink data with HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request) mode although positive response is not received about uplink data transmitting of HARQ mode. A first random access preamble is transmitted(1). A random access response is received as response about the first random access preamble(2). The random access response includes uplink wireless resource assignment information. An uplink data is transmitted to a network by the using uplink wireless resource assignment information(3). The uplink data is transmitted by using HARQ. If positive response about HARQ transmitting is not received from the network, the uplink data is reattempted with HARQ mode. Whether maximum number of the HARQ transmitting and number of uplink data transmitting are identical or not is determined.
