PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for sprinkling water to defrost an LNG vaporizing device or greatly reduce its frequency. SOLUTION: The LNG vaporizing device comprises a vaporizing pipe 10 for vaporizing LNG, and a defrosting device 40. The vaporizing pipe 10 has a plurality of main pipes 12 arrayed in the horizontal direction, and connection pipes 14 for connecting the upper or lower ends of mutually adjacent main pipes, to each other. Thus, a meandering flow path is formed including a vaporizing part 10a. At least a lowest temperature pipe 12L out of the main pipes 12 is filled with a turbulent flow promoting material. The defrosting device 40 blows defrosting gas to the specified main pipes including the lowest temperature pipe 12L to remove frost deposited on the surfaces of the main pipes.
