A called terminal (UA200), which is a wireless communication apparatus capable of using a plurality of different wireless communication systems, has a control part (320). When a telephone communication possibility notification request is received from a calling terminal (UA100) and when a connection of the called terminal (UA200) to a desired network has become possible, the control part (320) determines, based on both the status of the desired network and the required band of a desired application, whether the desired network satisfies a requirement for transmitting a telephone communication possibility notification. If the desired network satisfies the requirement for transmitting the telephone communication possibility notification, the control part (320) causes the called terminal (UA200) to transmit the telephone communication possibility notification; otherwise, the control part (320) causes the called terminal (UA200) to transmit a notification of status deterioration. |
