PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system having emergency call function through which an emergency call can be obtained, without switching operations by an interested party. SOLUTION: A position of own mobile station detected by a GPS is transmitted from mobile stations A, B equipped with a GPS to a base station. When the position of the mobile station does not change beyond a prescribed determination period of time, the base station performs an alarm display with any abnormality arising in the mobile station. Consequently, the mobile stations A, B can assume a constitution to notify the occurrence of abnormality to the base station, without having to operate emergency switch. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
