<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a coating agent of low friction coefficient is applied to a recording/reproduction main face in order to enhance an abrasion resistance of the optical information recording medium, the coating agent is simultaneously applied to a periphery end face of the optical information recording medium, the friction coefficient of the end face deteriorates and the optical information recording medium becomes very slippery, thereby reducing handleability. <P>SOLUTION: The handleability of the optical information medium for a user is enhanced while keeping an abrasion resistance of the recording/reproduction main face 108 by making the friction coefficient of a periphery end face part of the optical information recording medium higher than that of the recording/reproduction main face 108. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
