<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery management system capable of strictly protecting the personal information of a sender or a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: This delivery management system 1 is provided with: a reading device 10 installed at a delivery base point; a reading device 110 installed at a relay base point; and a management server 2. In the management server 2, first delivery information including principal information for specifying a receiver is encrypted, and delivery information comprising the first delivery information and second delivery information not including any specification information for specifying the sender and the receiver but including the sequence information of a base point where an article is delivered is encoded so that an information code to be attached to an article can be generated. Meanwhile, the reading device 10 installed at the delivery base point is configured to decode the first delivery information, and to display the principal information of the receiver.
