PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device which can satisfactorily perform arithmetic operation of signal separation and can improve quality of reproduced data by preventing influence of a noise included in a reproduced signal on channel estimation arithmetic operation. SOLUTION: On the basis of discrimination information obtained by a discrimination information detecting part 232, a separation pattern part processing control part 238 discriminates, for each reproduced signal of individual reproducing head in a section in which a separation pattern of a unit division is arranged, a reproduced signal corresponding to a section of a separation pattern reproduced by the reproducing head from a reproduced signal corresponding to the section of the separation pattern being not reproduced by the reproducing head. A channel estimation arithmetic operation part 234 uses the reproduced signal corresponding to the section of the separation pattern reproduced by the reproducing head as it is, and replaces the reproduced signal corresponding to the section of the separation pattern which is not reproduced by the reproducing head by the prescribed value and performs channel estimation arithmetic operation.
