PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an electric circuit diagram facilitating the comprehensive reference to an electric circuit and also the confirmation of a signal flow even in the case of use of an element such as an LSI chip having a plurality of input and output pins. SOLUTION: A device 1 for automatically generating the electric circuit diagram includes: an electric circuit generation means 10 for generating the electric circuit diagram based on connection information (net list) inputted, as a main component; a plurality of means; and disks. The input electric circuit net list is recorded in a first disk 11. When the generation means 10 receives the net lit and transfers information of circuit elements included in the net list to a circuit symbol generation means 12, the circuit symbol generation means 12 automatically generates symbols of the circuit elements and returns them to the generation means 10. The generation means 10 arranges the symbols on the circuit diagram represented by one endless area, and automatically connects the circuit elements to generate the electric circuit diagram.
