#CMT# #/CMT# Electrochromic active formulation (I) comprises a dispersing agent, a redox system and/or a color system, white pigment and metallocene, where the components of dispersing agent, a redox system and color system are partially or completely included in a combination, and the metallocene is combined in the present formulation with a solubilizing agent. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are included for: (1) preparing the electrochromic active formulation, comprising reacting the metallocene with the solubilizing agent and mixing the electrochromic formulation with the mixture of metallocene and solubilizing agent; and (2) producing an electrochromic display containing several electrochromic active cell, comprising applying the electrochromic active formulation between the two substrates coated with electrodes, in each electrochromic active cell. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# (I) is useful for producing an electrochromic display (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# (I) has improved storage stability, lifespan and durability. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The solubilizing agent: is ambiphilic; comprises hydrophobic hydrocarbon or a polar group; and nonionic, anionic or cationic surfactant.
