PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a color reproduction area having an extent to some degree while absorbing a difference in the color reproduction region occurring among a plurality of devices. SOLUTION: A color converting device 10 has: a color correction information generation section 20; and a color correction section 30. The color correction information generation section 20 has a target color acquisition section 21 for acquiring a target color; a dependent color acquisition section 22 for acquiring information on the dependent color of each device; an average color gamut generation section 23 for generating an average color gamut in the color gamut of each device; a color gamut compression section 24 for converting the target color to that in the average color gamut; and a correction LUT generation section 26 for generating the correction LUT for each device, based on the information on the dependent color of each device and the average color gamut target color. The color correction section 30 has: an image acquisition section 31 for acquiring an image; first and second color conversion sections 32, 33 for converting color by referring to the correction LUT for each device; and first and second image output sections 34, 35 for outputting an image for each device after color conversion.
