<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reading system for reading a plurality of bar codes by removing any bar code other than the object of reading. <P>SOLUTION: The photographic image data of a reading object 15 and an erroneous reading object 17 including a plurality of bar codes photographed by a camera 11 are separated into individual bar code sections by a bar code separation means 3 of an image analysis processing part 13. The allowable range decision processing of a bar code area is operated to the individual separated bar codes by the reading object decision means 5, and a bar code section whose area is smaller than an allowable range is removed from the object of reading.
