PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus capable of estimating characteristics of a wireless transmission line for each antenna from a plurality of known signals transmitted by a plurality of the antennas. SOLUTION: A first known symbol and a second known symbol are multiplied by a first weight sequence, and the first known symbol and the second known symbol are multiplied by a second weight sequence orthogonal with the first weight sequence to generate a first frame including the first and the second known symbols multiplied by the first weight sequence and a second frame including the first and the second known symbols multiplied by the second weight sequence, the first frame is transmitted using a first antenna, and the second frame is transmitted using a second antenna.
