PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle position notification system for visually displaying current positions of vehicles specified as a group on an inquirer information terminal. SOLUTION: A registration request comprising at least vehicle number(s) for identifying one or more target vehicles to be positioned through the Internet 60 from one of individual user's information terminals 11 to 1n, either information terminals 21, 2A, or an information terminal 3A, and terminal address(es) of one or more information terminals to be notified of the vehicle positions of the target vehicles is pre-registered as one group with an authentication password in a vehicle information database 48 of a vehicle position management server 40. Thereafter, when notification of vehicle positions is requested from one of the information terminals belonging to the group and authentication is successful with the authentication password unique to the group, vehicle positions of the target vehicles pre-registered in the group to which the information terminal belongs are transmitted to the requester information terminal.
