PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a tool capable of easily positioning a valve unit and fitting components. SOLUTION: The positioning tool 60 for performing fitting while positioning in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction between the valve unit and a valve driving component is performed when the valve unit 10 is assembled to a filler for filling a beverage into an empty can, has a pair of parallel flat plates 61 separated at a specified distance, a connecting part 62 for connecting one end of one flat plate to one end of the other flat plate and a positioning part 63 provided on one of the flat plates. The positioning part has a vertical part 63a approximately vertically extending upward from the flat plate and a horizontal part 63b extending approximately vertically in the horizontal direction from the upper end of the vertical part. Positioning of the valve unit and the valve driving component is performed by bringing the flat plate into abutment against a first site of the valve unit, and by bringing the vertical part into abutment against a second site orthogonal to the first site of the valve unit.
