PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for tongue diagnosis by which a physician without a skill of tongue diagnosis by Chinese medicine, a physician who cannot directly diagnose a tongue of a patient in a remote place, or a pharmacist who is not a physician acquires a diagnostic result of tongue diagnosis based on Chinese medicine. SOLUTION: The tongue diagnosis apparatus comprises a color determining part 302 for extracting a parameter of a tongue condition from tongue image data photographed by a camera 204, a color distribution determining part 303, a tongue shape determining part 304, a blotch determining part 305, a teeth mark determining part 306, a twist determining part 307, a tongue diagnosis result determining part 309 for extracting a tongue diagnosis result by comparing the condition parameter with tongue diagnosis data, and a display 205 for outputting the tongue diagnosis result to the outside.
