PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely arrange the photographing surface of a radiation conversion panel so as to be a radiation source side, and to efficiently perform a photographing work. SOLUTION: In the casing 36 of a radiation detection cassette 24, a first plate part 38 facing a patient 14 and a second plate part 40 facing an operating table 16 are respectively provided with first and second detection parts 60 and 62 constituting a temperature detection part 58. Then, when the radiation detection cassette 24 is installed between the patient 14 and the operating table 16, one of the first plate part 38 and the second plate part 40 is heated by the body temperature of the patient 14, and by respectively detecting and comparing the temperature, whether or not the irradiation surface 44 of the radiation detection cassette 24 is installed on the side of a photographing device 22 is confirmed.
