PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, a temperature control method, and a temperature control program capable of maintaining the quality regarding operations and performance of the apparatus by preventing an in-apparatus temperature from becoming high. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 including an image processor 100 and a fixing part 16a fixing a toner image on an image forming medium includes a cumulative printed sheet number counting means 41 counting a cumulative printed sheet number of print jobs and a power supply control means 43 controlling the power supply to a heat generating member included in the fixing part 16a on the basis of the cumulative printed sheet number 51 counted by the cumulative printed sheet number counting means 41.
