PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve efficiency for processing of snow melting treatment in a snow removing device. SOLUTION: A compacted snow lump crushing/multiple step hot water jet melting snow thawing treatment apparatus comprises a casing provided with a water tank loaded with compacted snow lumps from a hopper installed at the upper center thereof and storing water produced by melting the compacted snow lumps in the lower section of the tank, a rotating brush for crushing the compacted snow lumps loaded from the hopper, a slope plate for receiving the crushed falling snow and for causing them to flow downward, and a plurality of hot water jet pipes installed in the direction of crossing the flow between the upstream position and downstream position of the slope plate, and melts the crushed snow in multiple steps and water produced by melting is caused to flow down on the slope plate by jetting hot water from at least two hot water jet pipes installed at the upstream and the downstream of the slope plate in the flowing direction.
