A coated antioxidant particle is provided to increase the stability of antioxidant, suppress the smell of alpha-lipoic acid and be stably used for aqueous composition by coating antioxidant with disulfide polymer of alpha-lipoic acid and optionally water-insoluble polymer. The coated antioxidant particle comprises the antioxidant compound core, and a first polymer coating layer which is formed on the surface of the antioxidant compound core and contains the polymer of alpha-lipoic acid-based compound, wherein the antioxidant compound is selected from ascorbic acid, ascorbyl phosphate, glucosyl ascorbate, ascorbyl palmitate, catechin and epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG); and the alpha-lipoic acid-based compound is selected from alpha-lipoic acid, alpha-lipoic acid succinimide and alpha-lipoic acid glycine ester.
