An auxiliary handle 10a comprises a damping unit 16a with at least one damping element 18a capable of pivoting movement 62a during an oscillation damping. The damping element may be mounted via at least one bearing element 26a, and comprise an unbalanced absorption mass element. The dampening unit may also have an energy-converting unit 34a mounted partly in the damping element. The handle may have a fastening unit 44a at one of the axial end regions of the handle 40a for attachment of the handle to a power tool (12a fig 1). Optionally the handle may have at least two dampening elements (18b, 20b figs 3a and 3b. 18c, 20c figs 4a and 4b) which are movable, especially tiltable, with respect to one another. The power tool may be an angle grinder. |
