FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: air-cleaning device contains a confuser, diffuser, partition and louver grids located on both sides of the partition and representing plates. The said radial partition is provided with an aerodynamic panel on the inlet channel side. At least two used louver grids represent rings and feature identical geometry. The first streamwise louver grid inlet communicates, via the diffuser, with the inlet channel, while its outlet it communicates with the outer circular diffuser channel constricted by outer tapered wall, the said circular channel ID getting increased streamwise. The outer tapered wall has jet channels communicating with the contaminants discharge chamber. The second streamwise louver grid outlet communicates, via confuser, with the outlet channel. Fgrid/Finlet =1 to 4, where Fgrid is the grid flow passage, Finlet is the inlet channel flow passage. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of air cleaning at reduced drag due to use of centrifugal and inertial forces acting on contaminants in air swirling. ^ 3 dwg |
