A mobile robot location system using an RFID is provided to exactly recognize the location of a mobile robot and reduce the installation cost of an RFID tag although few RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tags are installed. A mobile robot location system using an RFID comprises plural RFID tags attached to the bottom, arranged at regular interval; and a mobile robot(200) adjusting the intensity of transmit power transmitting an RFID signal by transmitting RFID signal and conforming to the location information and the identification information received from the RFID tags. The mobile robot estimates the current location based on the intensity of transmit power adjusted and the location information received from the RFID tags.
