Provided is an air conditioner provided with an air filter automatic cleaning function having improved operability in dust box removal. The air conditioner is provided with a removing section (80) for removing a dust box (71), which contains dusts removed from air filters (21, 21), from a main body. The removing section (80) is provided with an operating member (81), such as a button and a lever, arranged to be exposed on the outer surface of the main body, and a push out member (82), which is arranged on the main body for pushing out the dust box (71) to the external of the main body by operation of the operating member (81). The dust box (71) is pushed out corresponding to a shift quantity of the operating member (81), and the dust box (71) can be smoothly and stably removed.
