The apparatus has a case held in a hand and comprising a hair removing unit for removing hair on the skin by plucking, and a driving unit for driving the removing unit. The hair removing unit has a hair removing roller rotating around an axis parallel to the skin. A fan (17) e.g. squirrel cage centrifugal fan, is driven by en electric motor for creating an air flow between an inlet opening of the case and an outlet opening of the case in the direction of the skin. The fan comprises a volute (35) formed by internal surfaces of walls of the case. |
