PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform the comparison of the samples of the same regions, sampled from different individuals by an analyzing person on duty without having to perform complex operations or troublesome decisions. SOLUTION: The shapes of samples or the shapes of the specific regions in the samples are grasped on the basis of the microscopic observation images of a plurality of the samples and one image is subjected to deformation operation such as movement, rotation, magnification/contraction, or the like, so as to arrange these shapes (S2). The coordinates data of micro regions corresponding to the deformed image are altered on the basis of the deformation operation data so that the comparison of mass spectral data to the micro regions having the same coordinates becomes possible (S3). Thereafter, principal component analysis is performed so as to compare the mass spectra of the micro regions of the same coordinates to acquire the data related to difference, or the like (S4).
