<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which efficiently performs image processing for computing the momentum of its own-vehicle while maintaining accuracy of computed momentum. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor 1 efficiently performs image processing only for a first specific area A1 and a second specific area A2 among picked up images includes: a first camera 51 which images surroundings of a vehicle; specific area extracting sections 12 and 13 for extracting areas closer to peripheral edges than the center of the image as specific areas A1 and A2; and a momentum computing means for computing the momentum of its own vehicle based on image information in a plurality of specific areas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
