PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispenser capable of normally dispensing a specimen with a fixed concentration only by sinking the distal end of a dispensation probe into the specimen a fixed length similarly to the case of a general liquid sample, even if a specimen contains sedimentation components, and to provide a dispensation method and an automatic analyzer therefor. SOLUTION: The automatic analyzer and the dispensation method mix a plurality of different liquids and make them react, and measure the optical properties of a reaction liquid and analyzes the reaction liquid. The automatic analyzer comprises a vibrator 12b, provided on a container 10 for holding a specimen containing a sedimentation component or on a rack where the container is placed, and a specimen mixer 12 with an electrode for supplying electric power to the vibrator on the rack, which is placed in a travel path for making the rack travel to the dispensation position, in which the specimen mixer supplies electric power from the electrode to the vibrator, during the travel to the dispensation line along the travel line, and mix the specimen that contains sedimentation component held by the container.
