PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device with a rotation speed detection device in which assembly and accuracy management are simplified and reliability is improved by improving the sealing performance of a seal. SOLUTION: In the wheel bearing device with a rotation speed detection device, the seal 11 includes a seal plate 21, which consists of a core metal 24, in which a sensor holder 20 is insert-molded, and a seal member 25, and a slinger 22, which is arranged to face the seal and formed in roughly an L shape in cross section. A rotation speed sensor 29 embedded in a sensor holder 20 and an encoder 28 face each other. A support member 27 of a pulser ring 23, to which a magnetic encoder 28 is joined, is press-fitted on the outside circumference of an inner ring 6. The slinger 22 comprises a cylindrical part 22a, which is fitted to the outside of the support member 27, and a vertical plate part 22b, which extends from the cylindrical part 22a to the radial outer side. Radial lips 25b, 25c and a side lip 25a are made to slidably contact the cylindrical part 22a and the vertical plate part 22b respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
