THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING POLYARYLENEMETHYLENES, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which has a high modulus of elasticity and a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and is excellent in the surface smoothness of a molded product and which is also excellent in the transparency especially for an aromatic series polycarbonate resin composition. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition contains alkoxy group containing polyarylenemethylenes and a thermoplastic resin. The weight average molecular weight (Mw) of the alkoxy group containing polyarylenemethylenes is preferably 20,000 or more, and the thermoplastic resin is preferably a polypropylene system resin or an aromatic series polycarbonate resin. The manufacturing method of the thermoplastic resin composition includes a process to mix the alkoxy group containing polyarylenemethylenes and the thermoplastic resin in a solution.
