PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the wavelength of light reflected by an optical fiber Bragg's diffraction grating, which is inexpensive because an expensive optical system such as a spectrum analyzer is not used and which is capable of high-precision measurement because of insusceptibility to fluctuations in loss of a measurement system. SOLUTION: A reference optical fiber 9 having a Bragg's diffraction grating 11 formed along the light path and a piezoelectric actuator 5 are integrated so that a longitudinal direction of the reference optical fiber 9 and a displacement direction of the piezoelectric actuator 5 are identical, whereby such an optical filter device 4 is arranged that the Bragg's diffraction grating interval of the reference optical fiber 9 can be changed as the piezoelectric actuator 5 is displaced. With use of the optical filter device 4, light reflected from a measured optical fiber 8 having a Bragg's diffraction grating formed along the light path is input to the optical filter device 4, and photoelectric energy output from the optical filer device 4 is measured, whereby the wavelength of light reflected by the Bragg's diffraction grating of the measured optical fiber 8 is measured in accordance with the amount of displacement of the piezoelectric actuator 5 at the minimum level of photoelectric energy.
