PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision detector capable of improving mounting performance to a vehicle, in a collision detector provided with a chamber member forming a space and a pressure sensor detecting pressure in the space. SOLUTION: This pedestrian collision detector 1 includes the chamber member 10 and the pressure sensor 11. The chamber member 10 forms a chamber 100. A recessed portion 101 storing the pressure sensor 11 is formed on the side backward of the chamber member 10. The pressure sensor 11 is coupled to the chamber member 10, and detects pressure in the chamber 100. The pressure sensor 11 is coupled to the chamber member 10 with the pressure sensor stored in the recessed portion 101, and fixed to the front surface of a bumper reinforcement 14. Therefore, as the conventional case, it is not necessary to separately secure a space for arranging the pressure sensor. Also, it is not necessary to greatly machine the bumper reinforcement.
