An arrangement for adjusting the distance of a suction box (100) from the outer surface of a shell (11) of a counter roll (10), which suction box (100) comprises a deck (110) having a leading edge (110a) and a trailing edge (110b). A pivot point (120) is arranged in connection with the leading edge (110a) or the trailing edge (110b) of the deck (110) of the suction box (100), about which pivot point the suction box (100) is pivotable such that either a uniform gap or a wedge-shaped gap enlarging towards the leading edge (110a) or the trailing edge (110b) of the deck (110) of the suction box (100) is formed between the outer surface of the deck (110) of the suction box (100) and the outer surface of the shell (11) of the counter roll (10). |
