PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent impairment of the drying capability which is caused by clogging of a lint filter in a drum type washing/drying machine having the lint filter for capturing lint in air discharged from a water tub. SOLUTION: The washing/drying machine includes a water level sensor 43 for detecting pressure inside the water tub 8, and a control device for detecting clogging of the lint filter 34 based on the pressure detected by the water level sensor 43 in the drying step and announcing that the lint filter 34 is clogged. When the lint filter 34 is clogged, air is not easily discharged from the water tub 8, and the pressure increased thereby is detected by the water level sensor 43. The control device detects clogging of the lint filter 34 based on the detected pressure, and announces the detected clogging. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
