<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch lithium secondary battery in which a product reliability is improved by stabilizing a quality at a sealing portion of a pouch case from which an electrode tab is extracted and a production process efficiency is improved by enhancing a workability in a battery assembly and a sealing process. <P>SOLUTION: The pouch lithium secondary battery is provided with an electrode assembly body 110 with electrode tubs 112, 113 each connected with two electrodes having each of a different polarity and a case 120 for housing the above electrode assembly body while the above two electrode tubs are extracted outside. On a sealing portion 123 of the case, there is formed a stepped portion 123 where the above two electrode tabs are extracted. As a result, at the sealing portion of an electrode tab of the pouch lithium secondary battery of a narrow width, a sealability against two of the electrode tabs is improved by the one stepped portion, and a production work efficiency of the battery is enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
