<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which an additional unit for measuring a residual water amount of a fuel cell stack is not provided and a warming-up power generation is conducted by a warming-up power in accordance with a residual water amount inside the fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 20 calculates a total power generation amount Q from an integral amount of a generated current detected by a current sensor 16 from a start up of a fuel cell system through a generation shutdown and memorizes the same at a total power generation amount memorizing portion 22. Moreover, the controller 20 measures a fuel cell temperature Ts at a previous shutdown by a temperature sensor 18 and memorizes the same at a power generation shutdown temperature memorizing portion 23. When the fuel cell system is started up, the controller 20 estimates a residual water amount Wr inside the fuel cell stack 2 based on the fuel cell temperature Ts at a power generation shutdown, the total power generation amount Q, and the fuel cell starting up temperature Tn, and based on the residual water amount Wr, a warming-up generation power is set up. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
