<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical method capable of removing hydrogen sulfide from a gas to be treated containing a large amount of carbon dioxide with hydrogen sulfide such as a bio-gas at a high level, capable of performing purification of the gas to be treated by a continuous system in which adsorption and regeneration are successively repeated for a long period of time, not throwing away the agent after use, and capable of further taking a switching time of an adsorption column longer. <P>SOLUTION: In the hydrogen sulfide removing method, hydrogen sulfide is removed from the bio-gas by circulating the bio-gas containing hydrogen sulfide with carbon dioxide through A type, X type or ferrierite type zeolite in which water, i.e., a catalytic reaction suppressing agent is previously adsorbed at a mass ratio of 0.2-3.3 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
