PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of a silicone rubber foamed body having uniform cells and good reproducibility by injection molding of a liquid addition hardening type silicone rubber composition and to provide the silicone rubber foamed body obtained by this method. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing process of the silicone rubber foamed body, a mixture obtained by blending the liquid addition hardening type silicone rubber composition with supercritical fluid is injected in a metallic mold cavity, where a ratio L/S(mm/mm<SP>2</SP>) of maximum flow length L in a cavity 21 to a cross-sectional area S of a gate of the metallic mold is≤7.0 and then is foamed or hardened.
