This invention generally relates to use of 8-f luoro-2- {4- [ (methylamino) methyl] phenyl} -1,3,4, 5-tetrahydro-6H-aze?ino [5,4, 3-cd] indol- 6 -one, represented by formula (1) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for treating ophthalmic condition selected from the group consisting of glaucoma, diabetic macular edema, uveitis, retinitis, retinopathies, choroidal neovascularization, ocular angiogenesis, and age related macular degeneration.
