发明名称 CABTF3 GENE FROM HOT PEPPER CONCERNED IN DEFENSE RESPONSE AND DEVELOPMENT OF PLANTS AND USE THEREOF
摘要 A CaBtf3(Capsicum annuum basic transcription factor 3) gene derived from hot pepper plant(Capsicum annuum) concerned in defense response and development of plants is provided to induce the disease resistance against TMV(tobacco mosaic virus) and Xcv(Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria), increase defense response of hot pepper plant, and promote the growth of plant. The CaBtf3 gene derived from hot pepper plant has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 which encodes CaBtf3 protein having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2, of which expression is increased specifically to the hyper-response against the pathogenic bacteria in plants and promotes the growth and flowering of the plants. A composition for improving disease resistance in plants comprises the CaBtf3 gene or CaBtf3 protein expressed therefrom.
