PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding ladder type unit composed of a small number of components and foldable into a small size, which can be utilized and applied in a variety of purpose such as a truss structure, a side signboard, a display assembly equipment, or the like for easy storage and transportation. SOLUTION: The folding ladder type unit including left and right vertical supports and a plurality of horizontal members for pivotally connecting them is composed in such a way that, as the horizontal members rotates upward, one of the vertical supports relatively moves upward in parallel to the other left vertical support and both vertical supports are folded up and integrated in a closely attached manner, so as to be in a rectangular column state.
