In order to coordinate the power delivered by the individual backup power sources (2) while some of the backup power sources (2) are connected on the input side to the AC grid (5) and other backup power sources (2) are not connected on the output side to the AC grid (5), a phase angle (Dj) is determined between the AC grid (5) and the load bus (4), and the power delivered by each of the backup power sources (2) that have not yet been reconnected to the AC grid (5) is adjusted as a function of said phase angle (Dj).
